The transfer modules are used to transfer specimen prepared in the protected atmosphere of a glove box to the chamber of the microscope and back. The transfer module mounts on the microscope stage just like a largish specimen. The lid of the module is actuated by a DC motor controlled from outside the chamber and can be used both in vacuum and in air. When closed, the lid hermetically seals the chamber of the module.

Each module can accommodate up to 8 samples at a time. These samples can have a height up to 6 mm. Our Heating and Peltier modules can be used along with the transfer modules. With or without the add on modules, the transfer modules can be tilted in most SEMs to an of up to 30°.
