Manufacturing Partner:

Erichsen Model 494 washability tester is used for the testing of the washing, brushing and scrubbing resistance as well as cleanability of dispersion paints. Adjustable parameters of the machine cycle allows for customized testing such as testing using cleaning agent and solutions. Also a wide range of accessories are available to enhance testing.

Design of washability tester:

  • Steel top cover plate for testing
  • High precision stepper motor, which is operated by micro controller device
  • Three parallel Abrasion tests can be done by the machine

Washability Tester – Result of test can be determined by:

  • Number of cycles needed to remove a film completely
