The heating stages have been developed to be used with various types of microscopes. The stages start from a maximum temperature of 300 °C and go all the way up to 1500 °C.
Devices up to 1050 °C can be adapted for use with EBSD detectors as well. The 1050 °C and 1500 °C devices are also available with a lid to protect the detectors from the heat and the specimen from any flowing gases inside the chamber. All devices can be mounted on the SEM stage and move inside the chamber along with the stage.
Abundant care is taken ensure stray electric fields do not affect the quality of the image. The standard scope of supply includes flanges and connections to the microscope chamber as well as the water cooling system with highly damped vibrations.
